ABER製牽引ロープ。金属パイプに縦に切り込みをいれて、しぼる工程はなんとかしてほしいものである。
主砲クリーニングロッドは真鍮パイプと真鍮棒の組み合わせで自作。

This is ABER's tow rope set. It's nice, but I hate the process to split the brass pipe vertically and shape it into the ”eye” of the rope.
I made the gun cleaning rods from brass pipe and rod.
ABER付属の金属製ロープは材質が今一で、一部硬化（さび？）しており、曲げるとパキパキと折れてしまった。慌てて瞬間接着剤を流し込んだ。

ABER's steel rope was rusty and easily split when I bent it. Be careful not to bend too much. I repaired the split part with instant glue.
巻き線にはエナメル線を利用。ちょっと太くなってしまった。先端部分はABER製エッチングパーツ。

For the small cable, I used enamel wire to “lash” the rope end. The bracket on the tip of rope is an ABER photoetch part.
ポリパテで肉厚した牽引シャックル。そのままだと牽引フックに入らないので、一度２つに切り取り、フックを引っ掛けてから接着している。

The towing shackle was made thicker with putty.
To fit the hook to the shackle, I cut the shackle in two pieces, fitted the hook, then glued the shackle back together.
